Noreen Lavyrl Woolworth Obituary
A retired secretary with LSU Library Service and a resident of Baton Rouge, she went to be with the Lord at 10:35 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2000, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 62 and a native of Washburn, N.D. Visiting at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday. Religious services at the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday, conducted by Elder Jerry Dodson. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by her husband, Jerry Woolworth, Baton Rouge; a daughter and son-in-law, Katherine and Neil Camp, Valdosta, Ga.; a son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Erin Woolworth, Baton Rouge; two sisters, Donna Bloomquist, Sedona, Ariz., and Patricia Reimers, Chicago; and four grandchildren, Sarah and Daniel Camp and Sean and Patrick Woolworth. Preceded in death by her parents, Godtfred and Irene Reimers; and a brother, Harvey Reimers. Pallbearers will be Lucien LeSage, Keith Kennison, Keith Laurence, Richard Doiron and Chuck Pieri. She was a member of Grace Bible Baptist Church, Denham Springs. Memorial donations may be made to Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, 4950 Essen Lane, Baton Rouge LA 70809.
