Funeral Friday at 11 a.m., Birka Lutheran Church rural Washburn. Burial Church cemetery. Mr. Reimers was born July 4, 1899, at Ogden, Iowa. In 1902 he came to North Dakota with his parents, who homesteaded near the Basto community west of Washburn. He farmed with his father, and married Irene Larson April 21, 1935, at Washburn. They farmed west of Washburn and retired in the spring of 1977. They lived in Underwood during the winter months. Surviving: wife; son, Harvey, Underwood; daughters, Mrs. Bruce (Donna Lou) Bloomquist, Northbrook, Ill., Mrs. Gerald (Noreen Lavyrl) Woolworth, Baton Rouge, La., and Patricia Ann Reimers, Lisle, Ill.; four grandchildren; foster sons, whom the Reimers family reared, Roger Owens, Osteen, Fla., and Charles Christmann, Bismarck; brothers, Carl, Washburn, and Leonard, Kirkland, ill.; and sister, Mrs. Agnes Soderstrom, Chicago.
